Job summary

YES Communities in Eagle, MI is seeking a Landscaper to maintain our community grounds and facilities, including mowing lawns, trimming edges, planting flowers, and boosting curb appeal.

A valid in-state driver’s license is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. OSHA training is a plus. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive health benefits, life and disability coverage, and a 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Maintain community assets including grounds, buildings, equipment, pools, etc.
• Mow lawns and trim edges around walks, flower beds, etc.
• Landscaping, including mowing, trimming, planting flowers, maintaining tree limbs and prune the grounds as needed
• Perform minor repairs on equipment utilized in groundskeeping
• Follow all OSHA standards and maintain PPE equipment
• Respond to emergency calls as directed by management if applicable.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Assist with maintenance tasks, including but not limited to delivering notices and conducting meter reads as directed by the community manager
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable
• Additional duties as assigned by management and subject to change

Landscaper Position Overview:

In this role, you'll be essential in keeping our community grounds and facilities well-maintained and visually appealing . Responsibilities include cleaning up trash and debris, raking leaves, sweeping walkways, mowing lawns, and trimming trees and hedges. In addition, your main focus will be adding curb appeal to the community.

Landscaper Essential Functions:

• Maintain community assets including grounds, buildings, equipment, pools, etc.

Landscaper Education and Experience:

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required

• OSHA certifications or completed trainings are aplus
