About the Department of Conservation and Recreation:
The Department of Conservation and Recreation manages one of the largest and most diverse state park systems in the nation, protecting natural resources and providing outdoor recreational opportunities throughout Massachusetts. DCR oversees over 450,000 acres of parks, forests, water supply protection lands, beaches, lakes, ponds, playgrounds, swimming pools, skating rinks, trails, and parkways.

Note: If selected and working less than 90 days, the position will revert to a short-term role. Short-term positions are not part of the advertised salary scale, and salary will be discussed during the interview.

Minimum Entrance Requirements: At least six months of full-time or equivalent part-time manual labor experience in construction or maintenance work.
