Location: Lowell Heritage State Park
Duration: 05/04/25 - 10/13/25 (23 weeks) @ 40 hours/week
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Sunday - Thursday

The Department of Conservation and Recreation manages one of the largest and most diverse state park systems in the nation, protecting natural resources and providing outdoor recreational opportunities throughout Massachusetts. The system includes over 450,000 acres of parks, forests, water protection lands, beaches, lakes, ponds, playgrounds, pools, rinks, trails, and parkways.
The Department seeks qualified applicants for seasonal Laborer I positions. Duties include conservation and maintenance work such as groundskeeping, facility maintenance, painting, rubbish removal, beautification projects, and assisting with park operations.
Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek. Work schedules and days off are at the discretion of the supervisor. The position may require working on weekends and holidays.
