The Department of Conservation and Recreation is seeking a Seasonal Laborer I for the Lake Dennison Recreation Area. This role involves assisting with maintenance tasks, visitor assistance, and operating light vehicles. Duration: 5/4/25-10/13/25 (23 Weeks) @40 hrs/week
Work Schedule: Primarily night shifts during the camping season, including split shifts; includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
The Department of Conservation and Recreation manages one of the largest and most diverse state park systems in the nation, protecting natural resources and providing outdoor recreational opportunities across Massachusetts. The system includes over 450,000 acres of parks, forests, water supply protection lands, beaches, lakes, ponds, playgrounds, swimming pools, skating rinks, trails, and parkways.
We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Seasonal Laborer I. A resume must be submitted as part of the application, specifically attached "as relevant" to the requisition for which you are applying.
Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek. Work schedules and days off are at the discretion of the supervisor. The position may require working on weekends and holidays.
