Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a laboratory associate to prepare soil samples and operate scientific equipment in a safety-focused lab environment. This role supports multiple testing procedures and requires attention to detail in documenting results and maintaining equipment.

The candidate will assist analysts, manage inventory, and uphold a safe work environment, with night shift hours (6 pm–8 am) as needed. A high school diploma is required, with 1–3 years in an environmental lab preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory.
• Willingness and ability to work night shift (schedule hours fall between 6 pm-8 am; variable hours).

Responsibilities

• Prepare soil samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following SOPs.
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
• Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.

• Other duties as required.
