Waypoint Analytical in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Seasonal Lab Technician for the day shift to support soil testing procedures. This entry‑level role focuses on sample preparation, instrument operation, and accurate reporting of results.

You will follow SOPs, help with inventory of consumables, and maintain a clean, safe work area while contributing to reliable data and timely analyses for agricultural clients.

Qualificações

What You'll Do:

• Prepare soil samples for a wide variety of testing procedures, following outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
• Document activities and report results accurately and concisely.
• Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and work areas.
• Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of previous experience working in an environmental laboratory is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to work day shift (approx. 8 am-6 pm; variable hours worked per week depending on business need).
