Job summary

Purgy's in Durango is seeking a reliable F&B Steward/Dishwasher to support our busy kitchen during lunch, banquet, and fine dining service. You will help keep the dish station clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. This seasonal role runs from 11/1/2026 to about 4/11/2027, offering a free season pass for you and your dependents and opportunities to grow with a dedicated BOH team.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen environments is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of chemical safety and PPE usage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the commercial dish machine and keep dish pit organized.
• Wash, sanitize, and dry all dishware, utensils, pots, and pans during service.
• Restock clean wares and maintain cleanliness of prep surfaces.
• Assist BOH team with basic prep tasks as needed.
• Perform end-of-shift deep cleaning of floors, drains, and equipment.
