Seasonal Kitchen Assistant (Sur La Table)

Join us as a Seasonal Kitchen Assistant at Sur La Table through CSC Generation. With over 50 stores and the largest culinary program in the US, Sur La Table offers a premium selection of kitchen goods and culinary experiences. Our goal is to inspire and support customers on their culinary journeys, whether through direct interaction, digital growth, or behind-the-scenes support.

The Seasonal Kitchen Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing customer experience and supporting the Resident Chef in driving store success. This position involves food prep, class setup, assisting during classes, and contributing to sales through product knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service and create memorable experiences
• Assist with food prep, class setup, and ingredient shopping
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dishes during and after classes
• Support instructors during classes and seek opportunities to assist
• Contribute to store goals through product knowledge and sales
• Handle alcohol as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Proficiency with chopping, whisking, slicing, stirring, and kitchen equipment
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
• Valid Food Handlers and/or Food Manager Certification
• Preferred: 1 year of retail sales or food prep/kitchen operations experience
• Must be at least 16 years old
