Job summary

Peninsula Golf and Country Club in Millsboro, Delaware, is seeking a part-time, seasonal Events Coordinator to organize and promote children’s activities this summer. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

The role is seasonal (approximately 6 months or less). Responsibilities include coordinating children's activities, planning birthdays and parties, producing communications, and developing creative programs, with light lifting of equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with diverse staff, parents, and employees.
• Ability to implement and supervise a positive, creative, and entertaining environment while incorporating youth enrichment programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication; persuasive and passionate communicator with interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct children's activities
• Work birthdays, holiday parties, and special events
• Produce communication materials
• Develop unique, creative, and innovative programs and events
• Participate in and lead high-energy physical activities, often with multiple children at once
• Lift, carry, and transport materials including large panels, bins, and furniture
