Job summary

Go! Retail Group, based in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Retail Associate to join our calendars, games and toys store.

You will open/close the store, greet customers, process transactions with the POS, and help maintain merchandising standards. Up to 20 hours per week with weekend and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of retail experience or experience related in this field.

• Knowledge in retail operations, sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control and loss prevention.

• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer on entry and execute Five Steps to a Sale.
• Operate the Point of Sale system accurately and process transactions.
• Provide comprehensive service via calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders.
• Maintain store environment to meet visual merchandising standards and engage customers.
• Open and/or close the store as scheduled and manage cash deposits.
• Complete opening or closing checklists for every shift.
• Work weekends and evenings as needed.
