Job summary

Go! Retail Group in Austin, TX is seeking a seasonal part-time Retail Associate to open and close the store, manage the cash register, assist customers, and keep the store organized while delivering friendly, responsive service.

The role supports promotions and uses the POS system daily, with up to 20 hours per week, weekends and evenings as needed. Candidates should have at least one year of retail experience, strong math and communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a customer-first

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer on entry.
• Execute Five Steps to a Sale at every opportunity.
• Offer current promotions and special offers.
• Operate the Point of Sale system accurately.
• Provide comprehensive service by utilizing calendars.com, email marketing, and in-store special orders.
• Maintain a store environment that meets visual merchandising standards.
• Receive and place new shipments.
• Reset features and promotions as directed.
• Complete regular housekeeping tasks.
• Open and/or close the store as scheduled.
• Prepare cash bank at opening and nightly deposits at closing.
• Complete opening or closing checklists for every shift.
