The Salvation Army Evanston Corps is seeking a Christmas Driver to support kettle season operations in Evanston, IL. The role involves transporting bellringers and kettles, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with Corps Officers to ensure smooth operations on a busy schedule.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of local area experience, a valid driver's license, and a clean TSA MVR check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• 1 year of related experience with good knowledge of the Evanston area.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Clear TSA MVR check is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport Bellringers and kettles to and from sites.
• Help to maintain equipment, ensuring Bellringers are clean and presentable.
• Provide badges to bellringers when dropped off.
• Coordinate with Corps Officers on disciplinary problems.
• Log drop off & pick up times of Bellringers on route sheet and have Bellringers sign-off.
• Conduct periodical site checks to ensure Bellringers are working.
• Assist with daily counting of monies as needed.
• Secure monies at all times.
• Ensure compliance with all procedures related to assignments.
• Other duties as assigned.
