Job summary

PlanetArt is seeking a Temporary IT Ops Support to assist our Woodridge facility on a 2nd shift with mandatory overtime during peak periods. The role focuses on helpdesk tasks, hardware and software support, and Citrix assistance. Local candidates willing to work nights and weekends are required. Position ends 12/18/26.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot Citrix, printers, networks, and RF devices for warehouse operations, manage AD/365, and adapt to VMware as a plus.

Qualifications

• Citrix troubleshooting for basic user needs (accounts updates and connection issues).
• Printer, network, and RF device troubleshooting for warehouse ops.
• Active Directory and Microsoft 365 basic support knowledge.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends with mandatory overtime.
• Knowledge of VMware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues via email, chat, or in-person.
• Support the warehouse environment, printers, RF devices, and helpdesk needs.
• Log, track, prioritize, and resolve requests in a ticketing system.
• Create, modify, and disable user accounts, passwords, and permissions (AD, 365).
• Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and business apps while supporting Citrix.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or teams.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and SOPs.

Job Overview

PlanetArt is looking for a Temporary IT Ops Supportto support the company’s production facility in Woodridge. The successful candidate will be a standard helpdesk technician on a 2nd shift schedule with mandatory overtime during the company’s busy peak period.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates much be local, willing to work nights and weekends.

Temporary position will end 12/18/26

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues via email, chat, or in-person. Supporting the warehouse environment, printers, rf devices, and helpdesk needs.
• Ticket Management: Log, track, prioritize, and resolve support requests using a ticketing system
• User Account Management: Create, modify, and disable user accounts, passwords, and permissions (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc.)
• Hardware Support: Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Software Support: Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems and business applications while supporting Citrix during PlanetArt’s Q4 peak season
• Escalation: Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or appropriate teams
• Documentation: Maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and standard operating procedures

What You Should Have

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

• Experience troubleshooting Citrix for basic user needs like accounts updates and connection issues
• Experience troubleshooting printers, networks and rf devices for the warehouse operations team
• Active directory and 0365 basic supporting knowledge
• Willingness to work nights and weekends with mandatory overtime
• Knowledge of Vmware is a plus

Working Conditions

• Work is generally performed in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels, however some work will require work on the production floor.
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
• Position requires regular, continuous use of computers.
• Position requires regular sitting and standing.
• Position requires regular interaction with team members through the following methods: in-person, phone, zoom, radio, Slack, or email.

The compensation for this position is $26 - $32 per hour.
