Job summary

Boot Barn in Milford, CT seeks a Seasonal Inventory Control Associate to assist the Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist with inbound/outbound inventory, ensuring shelves are stocked and process accuracy.

You will help with tagging, compliance, and timely documentation, maintaining a clean stock room, and supporting store operations and loss prevention. This role emphasizes teamwork and professionalism to ensure a positive customer experience through accurate inventory flows.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build long-standing customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant and accurate to Company standards.
• Ensure all merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor.
• Ensure timely and accurate input for all freight information through the appropriate systems.
• Execute all RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per Company policies.
• Maintain productivity to meet UPH targets.
• Keep the stock room neat and compliant with guidelines.
• Adhere to local, state laws and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate professionalism in communication and teamwork with customers, teammates, and vendors.
