Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Seasonal Inventory Control Associate to support Receiving and Inventory Control Specialist in maintaining store inventory. You will ensure the sales floor is stocked and merchandise flow is accurate, enabling strong customer experiences.

Responsibilities include processing inbound/outbound inventory, verifying deliveries, tagging, inputting freight data, and maintaining a neat stock room in line with company policies and state guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory control processes (e.g., receiving, stocking, cycle counts).
  • Familiarity with inbound/outbound inventory workflows.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and data in systems.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
  • Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
  • Verify all merchandise deliveries are compliant with company standards.
  • Ensure merchandise is prepared for the selling floor and complies with ticketing/signage guidelines.
  • Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving it to the sales floor per Loss Prevention guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate input for all freight information through appropriate systems.
  • Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high productivity by achieving UPH targets.
  • Keep the stock room neat, organized and compliant with company/state guidelines.
  • Adhere to all local, state and federal laws in addition to company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, teammates, partners and vendors.
