Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's PennDOT is seeking a Stock Clerk 1 to support the Centre County Maintenance Organization. This role handles documents, answers calls, and assists staff and the public with accurate information during daily operations.

The position is seasonal full-time from October 2026 through March 2027, working 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch. Telework is not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum Experience and Training: Graduation from high school; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls, provide information, and record complaints or incidents.
• Assist managers and field staff through two way radio communication during maintenance activities.
• Maintain logs, records, and control documents by adding or updating necessary information.
• Share forms, instructions, and updates clearly with coworkers and the public.
• Sort papers, file documents, and operate basic office equipment as needed.
• Follow written and verbal directions to complete tasks accurately.
