Job summary

Martin/Martin, Inc. seeks outstanding engineering students to join our Structural Engineering Group as summer interns at our Vail, Colorado office. The internship focuses on new building structural design, with opportunities in BIM, technical research, and renovation of existing buildings.

You will work with seasoned engineers, gaining hands-on experience in analysis, modeling, and presentations while supporting project teams in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Pursuing civil or architectural engineering degree (junior-level completed).
• High school diploma required.

The Team

Our structural engineering teams provide custom solutions for new constructions and expansions both in Colorado and nationally, with a strong record in notable projects like Coors Field, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine, and Harborcenter.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Civil or Architectural Engineering, having completed at least a junior-level program
• High school diploma
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to commute and attend programming in the work location where the Internship is based (Vail, Colorado)
• Ability to work in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Attention to detail
• Eager to learn
• Ability to work independently and ask questions as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired

• Structural engineering-specific experience
