Job summary

SWSRA is hiring a Program Aide to assist individuals with disabilities in recreational activities. This part-time seasonal position requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a recreational setting.

The role involves supervision, setup, and cleanup of activities, and the ability to communicate effectively with participants. Flexible hours are a must, with responsibilities in both indoor and outdoor settings. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Illinois driver’s license and be CPR/First Aid certified.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Must hold a valid Illinois driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and cleaning up programming materials.
• Supervise participants during all programming.
• Communicate participant behaviors with the Program Leader.

Skills
