Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Buda is seeking a Seasonal RN for night shifts (7pm–7am) on a 13-week contract. The 15-bed Main Nursing Unit blends care levels across Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Intermediate Care, and Critical Care with 1:4/5, 1:3, and 1:2 ratios.

Ideal candidates will have ICU experience and be willing to cover med/surg, tele, or IMC as needed. A Nursing degree, active RN license, and BLS are required, with benefits described in the facility overview.

Qualifications

• Must have ICU/telemetry experience and be able to take med/surg, telemetry, or IMC assignments as needed.
• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments following practice standards.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Create a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Manage pain and monitor patient progress to promote recovery.
