Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Buda is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 3x12-hour day shift on a mixed acuity unit. The role involves patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Ideal candidates have ICU experience and are willing to take med/surg, tele, or IMC assignments as needed. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge needs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure safe and effective care.
• Document care and communication in the electronic medical record.
• Delegated tasks per patient condition and team competencies.
