Job summary

Four Seasons Denver seeks a banquet setup associate to prepare and reset banquet spaces, set tables and props, and assist guests with requests. You will maintain cleanliness and stock service areas, ensuring all items are in good condition and ready for events.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and a collaborative team approach across shifts. Forty hours weekly, with a focus on service excellence in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education equivalent experience
• Experience: Minimum one year food service or related work
• Skills and Abilities: Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding room set-up.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.
• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans.
• Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.

BASIC PURPOSE

Set‑up and clearing of china, glass, silver, linen, tables, chairs, and props for banquet functions as well as attend to guest needs and requests.

Essential Functions

• Set‑up, breakdown, and clean tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order. (40%)
• Stock linen, china, silver and glassware and supplies for service ensuring that in good condition. (15%)
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance programs and plans. (15%)
• Retrieve meeting materials, props, crates, and boxes from the hotel’s receiving area and store them safely and securely. (10%)
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors. (10%)
