Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior restaurant experience is preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure managing a very busy shift.
• Outstanding customer‑oriented people skills.
• Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving.
• Able to become familiar with restaurant specifics and prepared to answer a wide variety of questions.
• Positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
• Ability to perform high‑quality work while unsupervised.
• Work well with other staff as a team.
• Maintain a good energy level for an entire busy shift.
• Ability to be flexible and work a variety of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and seat them, managing a waiting list when necessary.
• Provide menus and answer initial questions.
• Manage seating to balance customer preference and server workload.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and answer questions.
• Ensure entrance is clean, attractive, and well‑maintained.
• Respond to complaints and assist in resolving issues.
• Work with other staff as a team to provide great service.
• Strive for outstanding service quality on every shift.
• Maintain positivity and avoid gossip or negativity.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
