Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs in Springfield, VA seeks a Seasonal Holiday Team Lead to support our Santa photo sets, welcome families, assist with photos, and keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will bring warmth, energy, and leadership to every shift, helping create joyful holiday experiences for guests and guiding the team through peak retail hours with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities within our division.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or cashier roles preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties at the venue.
• Lead by example and reinforce policies and procedures established by Operations Manager/Regional Manager.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate to IT or Local Management when needed.
• Assist with training and/or recruiting as needed.
• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs to take home.
• Photography experience not required.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the experience.
• Participate as a team member, ensuring photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly manner with all guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate POS system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• All other tasks as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For

• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexibility to work during “peak” retail hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to process sales transactions and comfortable with cash handling

Knowledge, Experience & Skill

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience preferred but not required
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
