Job summary

Cherry Hill Programs Inc. in LaGrange Mall is seeking a Seasonal Holiday Retail Assistant Manager to lead our photo operations and guest service during the busy season.

You will support daily operations, motivate the seasonal team, drive sales, and ensure families have a magical Santa visit and a memorable photo experience.

Flexible scheduling and opportunities beyond the season are available; prior retail leadership is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be comfortable in a cash handling/sales transaction position.
• Ability to lead a team, work independently, and make sound decisions.
• Availability to attend required pre-season training.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
• Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 10-25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive, collaborative environment while upholding company values and policies.
• Support opening-day prep: hiring, inventory, equipment, scheduling, training, opening/closing.
• Capture photos and help guests choose memorable souvenirs.
• Resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Lead by example and reinforce procedures from senior management.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate as needed.
• Assist Local Manager with inventory, scheduling, training, recruiting and other tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
