Qualifications

• Valid BC Class 3 licence with air brake endorsement and clean driver record.
• 2+ years’ highway maintenance experience preferred.
• Grader operation experience is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Act and Regulations.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy trucks and equipment for highway maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Perform road surface maintenance work such as snow/ice control and roadside upkeep.
• Complete documentation like fuel logs, road reports, and maintenance records.
• Inspect and report potential equipment defects to ensure safety and reliability.
• Follow company performance standards for highway maintenance activities.
