Mid-Pacific Institute is seeking a Head Coach for Canoe Paddling (Boys) at the High School level. The role involves developing student-athletes, planning regular practices, recruiting and mentoring assistant coaches, and coordinating with the Athletic Department to build a competitive program.

The position is temporary and seasonal, concluding at season end. A CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required or obtainable.

Competenze

• Must hold or be willing to obtain valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Preferred: Proven experience as a successful and motivating head coach with excellent communication skills.

Mansioni

• Develop student-athletes through safe and effective drills, skills, strategies, and lesson planning.
• Motivate and support student-athletes using positive reinforcement.
• Provide off-season training opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
• Supervise staff, recruit and train coaches for the Canoe Paddling (Boys) program.
• Communicate with the Athletic Department and maintain safe, compliant program operations.
