Job summary

Qualifications

• Mandatory ability to stand for prolonged periods and work in harsh environments.
• Write and read English; follow instructions and complete time sheets accurately.
• Within one month, obtain Inspector Aide license from USDA.
• Within two months, obtain USDA FV-200 certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stage samples and move containers in inspection area.
• Grade commodities by size, appearance, and defect criteria with a grading crew.
• Take representative samples using standard sampling procedures.
• Drive to remote locations for audits and document findings; prepare CARs.
