Job summary

Coastal Farm in Washington state (Lacey) is seeking a seasonal associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist sales, and maintain store standards.

You will greet customers, answer questions, operate the POS, stock and merchandize, and help with housekeeping, signage, and loss prevention.

Flexibility to assist in other departments and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and maintain radio communication with associates.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products and promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
• Support signing, pricing, and point-of-sale operations; manage freight processing.
• Contribute to loss prevention and overall store standards.

Description

This seasonal position includes a retention bonus for eligible employees who successfully complete the seasonal assignment.

Primary Purpose

To be responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, processing freight, and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer customer questions, and help customers find
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Constant radio communication with all associates.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the products Coastal Farm sells.
• Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and merchandise promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.

• Help in other departments when needed.
• Perform daily cleaning – such as, but not limited to, vacuuming, replacing full trashes with new trash bags, and sweeping the department floor.
