Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring for a Store Associate in LI-Lake Grove, NY. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast, courteous checkout experience.

You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and executing planograms while supporting store operations and policy adherence. The role requires standing for long periods and working nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock store conditions.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; interact respectfully with team members.
