Job summary

National Western is seeking a Seasonal Guest Relations Security Manager in Denver, CO, to lead guest service and safety programs across Stock Show grounds. You will supervise staff, coordinate with security and law enforcement, and implement incident response plans to ensure a safe, welcoming experience for guests, exhibitors, volunteers, and staff.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in guest relations or event management, strong leadership, and experience in public safety coordination.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in guest relations, event management, hospitality, or related field required; public safety experience preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in large-scale events.
• Familiarity with stock show operations and event logistics preferred.
• Strong leadership to motivate a team and manage incidents effectively.
• Experience coordinating with law enforcement, emergency responders, and contracted security.

Responsibilities

• Oversee guest relations and safety operations to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Coordinate with security, law enforcement, and event operations on incidents and emergencies.
• Develop and implement guest safety procedures and incident response plans.
• Serve as primary liaison for escalated guest incidents and operational concerns.
• Monitor crowd flow and venue capacity; recommend safety improvements.
• Document incidents and prepare reports; participate in risk assessment and planning.
• Conduct training for Guest Relations staff and seasonal team members.
• Build relationships with external public safety partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to venue policies while maintaining guest focus.
