Eataly North America is seeking a Host for onsite operations in Santa Clara. You will warmly greet guests, seat them, and maintain dining flow. You will manage waitlists, assist with reservations where applicable, and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth service.

This seasonal role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and experience in fast-paced restaurants. The position requires availability evenings and weekends, and offers a pay rate of $18.70 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greeting, seating and saying goodbye to guests and maintaining flow during service.
• Oversees dining room functions and relays information to managers and staff.
• Manages waitlist and seating chart using a computerized system.
• Takes and manages reservations where available.
• Balances guest flow among service stations and informs guests when tables are ready.
• Escorts guests to tables, provides menus and introduces the server.
• Assists servers and bus persons as needed and performs other duties.

Connaissances

1+ year of experience in a high-volume
