Job description

Job Summary

Seasonal position supporting the Christmas at the Library program, with employment opportunities prior to the program beginning in December. The role assists guests while celebrating the Savior’s birth through our dining services, including a traditional buffet‑style Christmas Dinner experience behind the Billy Graham Library and optional dining at the Graham Brother’s Dairy Bar inside the library. Responsibilities include fulfilling orders, guest seating, preparation and sanitization of dining areas, replenishing buffet items, and other tasks. The schedule lasts three weeks, primarily working evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing rooms for dining by setting out placemats, decorations, condiments, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
• Maintain table settings by removing courses as completed, refilling pitchers, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs in a timely manner.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks between meals and upon completion as directed by Food Services Leads.
• Ensure that the Dairy Bar is stocked with product and food to effectively serve guests.
• Appropriately engage with guests to ensure a positive experience.
• Assist with food prep as directed by the Kitchen Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Benefits

Associate or Seasonal employees may work up to 19 hours a week (not to exceed 1,000 hours a year), and are not eligible for any benefits.
