Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Seasonal General Laborer with a strong work ethic to support day-to-day field operations, ground clearing, vegetation management, and general labor duties.

This is a temporary seasonal position lasting approximately 6-10 weeks. Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. DCS emphasizes a family-like, respectful work environment and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Mowing, weed-eating, tree removal experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 5-year clean MVR.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and federal background check.
• Ability to travel out of state.
• Ability to be gone for 2 weeks if needed.
• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Prior vegetation spraying, landscaping, painting, tree work, or grounds maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment.
• Large debris pickup.
• Performs mowing and weed-eating.
• Performs weed cutting and removal.
• Tree cutting experience is a plus.
• Drives company vehicles.
• Uses all power tools safely.
• Uses all equipment safely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
