Job summary

The Seasonal Grounds Technician at Westwood Country Club in Austin, TX, performs routine lawn and property maintenance and helps manage invasive Hydrilla removal from the lake. This hands-on, outdoor role requires a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Reporting to the Facilities and Grounds Manager, you will mow, edge, trim, operate maintenance tools, plant and mulch as needed, and help keep the lake shorelines and grounds clean and safe.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1+ year grounds experience preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow directions.
• Willingness to learn Hydrilla removal and outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
• Operate basic lawn and grounds-maintenance equipment.
• Remove leaves, debris, and manage general grounds cleanup.
• Assist with planting, weeding, mulching, and landscaping tasks.
• Identify and remove Hydrilla and other invasive vegetation from lake areas.
