Verde Canyon Railroad is seeking energetic, dependable team members for the Magical Christmas Journey. The role begins in Grounds & Facilities for holiday setup and transitions to entertainment as actors/characters.

The seasonal period runs from early October through December, with responsibilities including decorating, preparing trains and guest areas, and later portraying characters such as elves, Santa, and mascots. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable standing and working for long periods.
• Be able to safely stand and work on a ladder.
• Be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Be comfortable performing physical and active work throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist Grounds & Facilities team with decorating and preparing the railroad, trains, and guest areas.
• Set up and maintain outdoor holiday displays and decorations.
• Help decorate train cars, guest areas, and displays.
• Work both independently and as part of a team, and assist other departments as needed.
