Job summary

City of Hamilton, Ohio is seeking seasonal laborers to support the Department of Resident Services. Crew leaders supervise seasonal staff and handle mowing, trash removal, cleaning, and general grounds work across city locations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience with lawn and grounds maintenance is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead seasonal Resident Services crew outside the direct supervision of the Director, Coordinator or Specialist.
Perform mowing, trash removal, cleaning, hauling and other tasks as assigned per Health Department sanitarians and citizen complaints.
Assists in making repairs to buildings, cleaning up facilities and moving property between locations.
Perform grounds and facilities maintenance at city-owned buildings and vacant lots.
Operate trucks, trailers, lawn equipment, basic hand tools and garden tools.
Assist with special events including festivals, parades, and conferences.
Performs related work as required.
