Responsibilities

• Stock displays fully without overcrowding; face items on shelves.
• Rotate older stock to the front, making space for new stock.
• Pull short-dated or low-quality items and follow procedures for handling them.
• Label items with price tags or signs; report price discrepancies.
• Maintain stocking lists for later shifts; notify buyers of out-of-stock items.
• Ensure refill orders are placed for regular supply and specials.
• Assist customers with product questions; lead customers to products.
• Offer suggestions for purchases and ways to prepare products.
• Help customers place special orders.
• Check deliveries for piece count; report discrepancies.
• Check for damage/quality; report discrepancies.
• Help with unloading as needed.
• Sign for deliveries and route invoices.
• Rotate overstock into storage.
• Update stocking lists as orders come in.
• Keep shelves and equipment clean and in order.
• Attend team and storewide meetings.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
