Job summary

The Fresh Market is hiring seasonal team members to work in Grocery, Guest Service, Early Morning Production, Produce, and counter roles in Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood. You’ll engage guests, merchandise, handle pricing and cash, and support overall store operations with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 (or 18 for certain departments), have a passion for service, and prior experience in retail, hospitality, or food-service.

Qualifications

• A passion for providing extraordinary service
• At least 16 years of age or at least 18 in Deli, Bakery, Produce
• Preferred qualifications: Experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide extraordinary guest service and assist guests with meal solutions across departments
• Merchandise and stock products to create a hospitable shopping experience
• Weigh and scan products, handle cash and provide change when needed
• Assist with housekeeping duties and general store upkeep
• Slice and prepare department meats, cheeses and ready-to-eat items while maintaining quality
