Job summary

CGB Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Scale/Probe Operator to support grain receiving operations. You will weigh trucks, sample grain, grade samples, and document data while delivering strong customer service to farmers and stevedores.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus a grain grader/weighing certificate. Travel and overtime may be required in peak season; a safety-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Grain grader and/or weighing certificate; if not obtained before hire must obtain in time applicable to perform job duties.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include computer literacy, math, communication, multitasking, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Safety Program and pre-shift meetings.
• Weigh trucks in and out; record weights and samples.
• Take grain samples and perform grading tests as required.
• Record information electronically with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and support truck flow.
• Perform general housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
