Job summary

River Valley Cooperative in Ryan, IA is seeking a Seasonal Operator to support member farming operations and the cooperative's day-to-day needs. You will operate and maintain equipment, handle bulk and packaged chemicals, and assist with grain loading and unloading as season demands.

Ideal candidates have experience in agriculture, basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and CDL is a plus. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and willingness to work outdoors in varying

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles.
• Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals.
• May unload and load grain from storage bins and/or transportation.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Utilize heavy machinery, such as an end loader or skid steer.
• Observe all OSHA, DOT, state, federal safety regulations at all times.
• Follow housekeeping practices that keep the facilities neat and clean.

As a Seasonal Operator, you will be responsible for providing quality products and services in the operations that will assist member owners of River Valley Cooperative to be financially successful in their farming operations and provide for a sustainable local cooperative operation to serve member needs.

Working Conditions
