Job summary

Cooperative Farmers Elevator in Minnesota is seeking a hardworking General Laborer to support grain operations during the fall season and provide outstanding customer service to members and customers.

Responsibilities include maintaining grain quality, performing housekeeping to reduce dust, assisting with loading/unloading, dumping grain, and helping with fertilizer handling, plus basic equipment and mechanical maintenance while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as general office machines and phone system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grain quality.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain dust levels.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance.
• Measure and track grain inventory.
• Perform basic grain handling, loading and unloading.
• Ability to dump grain.
• Assist with loading and unloading fertilizer.
• Uphold Company Safety & Compliance policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
