Job summary

New Vision Co-op in Minnesota is seeking a seasonal Grain Operations Associate to support a busy grain handling facility. You will receive grain, accurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound loads, and place grain in the correct bins while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires basic machinery understanding, ability to perform routine maintenance, and good teamwork. Start date tentatively 9/15/2025 with end of season. Valid driver's license and basic computer skills are a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of machinery operation and dry material handling.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and accurate weight/inventory measurements.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be self-motivated and a team player.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Receive grain and accurately weigh and grade inbound/outbound loads.
• Place grain in proper bins and maintain bin documentation.
• Operate grain dryer if applicable; assist with train loading.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and yard maintenance.
• Notify supervisor of grain purchases and monitor inventory.
• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs as needed.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety training.
