Job summary

New Vision Co-op in Minnesota is seeking a Grain Elevator Operator to perform basic operations: receive grain, weigh and grade, and place grain in proper bins; load out grain according to contracts; maintain the facility and grounds.

This is a seasonal role with a tentative start 9/01/2025 and end of season; you will support safety training, assist with equipment maintenance, and help with yard and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic understanding of machinery operation.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and accurate weight/inventory measurements.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work as a team member.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Receives grain and performs basic elevator operations.
• Accurately weigh and grade inbound and outbound grain and place in proper bins.
• Enter required fields in scale computer and assist with load-out per contract specifications.
• Maintain facility, equipment, and grounds; assist with routine maintenance and inspections.
• Participate in safety training and follow company policies.
