Job summary

Mercer Landmark Inc. seeks several seasonal Grain Admin/Operators for Paulding, OH. The role runs through December 1, with a 72-hour workweek (12 hours/day, 6 days).

A $4,000 bonus is paid at harvest end for completing the season. Ideal candidates have strong availability during the 12-week period and can perform manual and administrative tasks in a grain facility. Responsibilities include facility maintenance, grain testing, and support for customers and trucks while adhering to safety rules

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic reading skills.
• Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Ability to perform manual labor as needed.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and endure long hours of work.
• Ability to interact with customers and staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Work outside and in the facility performing tasks as needed.
• Admin duties including answering phone, counter sales, inbound/outbound trucks, grain testing, and other office duties.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean facility.
• Serve patrons, promote the company and customer service.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
