Leisure World of Maryland Corporation is hiring Golf Technician I for a seasonal, full-time role on the 18-hole golf course. The position runs March through October 2026, with hours 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

weekdays and alternating weekends, and includes overtime hours. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, based on experience. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of golf maintenance or landscaping experience; chainsaw experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination.
• Preferred 1+ year golf maintenance or commercial landscaping experience.
• Chainsaw operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate golf course equipment (mowers, carts, tractors, blowers) to maintain greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
• Rake bunkers, fill tee divots, replace water coolers, and remove debris.
• Weed and maintain plant beds; edge sprinkler heads and mulch beds.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal and outdoor maintenance as needed.
• Assist in other golf maintenance duties and support part-time staff.
