Job summary

Leisure World of Maryland is seeking a Golf Technician I to maintain our 18-hole golf course. The role is full-time seasonal, 40 hours per week, March through October, with overtime on weekends as needed. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, based on experience, with schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferably 1+ year of golf maintenance work or commercial landscaping experience.
• Chainsaw operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate golf course equipment such as carts, mowers, tractors, rakes, and trimmers to maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs.
• Mow greens, tees, fairways, and roughs; trim around trees, bunkers, signs and edges.
• Replace water coolers, remove trash, change hole locations and relocate tee markers.
• Water greens and sod; weed and maintain plant beds; perform minor equipment maintenance.
