Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Gathers information from the starter at 7:00 am role call.
• Maintains a consistent pace of play on the course.
• Uses a red/green flag system to inform members of slow areas.
• Keeps contact with the golf shop, starter, and driving range via radio.
• Acts as tenth tee starter to assist with tee times.
• Enforces golf course rules such as cart paths only and the 90-degree rule.
• Enforces attire, spike-less shoes, guest policy, and children rules.
• Assists members with special requests.
• Patrols the course to monitor pace and safety.
• Check emergency phones and relay information to starter and security.
• Carry a first aid kit and restock supplies as needed.
• Inspect scorecards, pencils, sand buckets, restrooms, and ice machines on course.
