Job summary

loganutah is seeking a Temporary/Seasonal Parks & Recreation worker in Logan, Utah to perform skilled labor for parks and sports field maintenance under general supervision.

Eligible applicants may work 10–40 hours per week with early starts (6–7am) and weekend availability, while operating a range of machinery and coordinating seasonal staff. A high school diploma or equivalent and Utah licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of standard senior high school or equivalent.
• Moderate mental application and training required.
• Must be in good physical condition and capable of working in all weather and seasonal conditions.
• Knowledge of general landscaping maintenance and construction methods and practices.
• Various state and city certifications may be required as per assignment including a valid Utah Driver/Operator's License.

Responsibilities

• Operates mechanized equipment such as mowers, backhoes, compactors, utility vehicles, trucks, tractors, saws, jack hammers, etc.
• Oversees and coordinates work activities of temporary/seasonal staff as assigned and reports directly to the Golf Superintendent.
• Positions needed anywhere from 10-40 hours per week. Workdays begin between 6am and 7am. Must be able to work weekends.
