Job summary

Pompei Gift Baskets is seeking a creative, detail-oriented individual for a seasonal, in-person position during the holidays. The role involves assembling high-end gift baskets that may include alcohol, proper wrapping, and careful inspection of items before design.

Flexibility in hours is required, with shifts from 9am and extended December coverage. The position is temporary and runs through early January, with a mix of part-time and full-time hours depending on the week and workload.

Responsibilities

• Rotate and stock products.
• Assist customers with item selection and recommendations.

Job description

We are a high volume gift basket company based in NNJ seeking a creative individual who pays close attention to detail, takes direction well, and is very organized! This is a seasonal position starting within the next week or so, running through the holidays until about early January. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Creating high-end gift baskets that include alcohol products

• Properly gift wrapping and packaging items for transport
• Inspection of items prior to designing
• Lifting 30-50lbs
• Rotating and stocking products
• Helping customers with selection of items/recommendations
• Helping keep organized in a fast-paced environment

The ideal candidate would:

• Have basic knowledge of liquor, wine, champagne, etc.
• Pay close attention to minor details
• Follow directions well
• Be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Have flexible hours INCLUDING 9am availability
• P/T October thru November and January
• F/T from December (9am-9pm)
• Work well under pressure

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
