Job summary

Denver Botanic Gardens is seeking a Seasonal Garden Guide in the Membership, Visitor and Volunteer Services Department to help ensure a positive visitor experience during events such as Blossoms of Light. You will greet guests, direct lines, answer questions, and promote memberships and programs.

The role requires working outside in all weather, primarily evenings, weekends and holidays, with a minimum of 1 year in customer service preferred and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Provides outstanding customer service to visitors, staff and volunteers.
• Greets visitors and directs them to designated pathways and locations.
• Ensures visitors remain on designated pathways and responds to inquiries.
• Requires ability to work outdoors, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly greetings and orientation to visitors.
• Answer questions and promote events, memberships and resources.
• Manage lines and assist with entry/exit for events.
• Maintain safety and follow procedures for emergencies and incidents.
